I’ve spent a lifetime telling stories, making art, and doing things I love. I’ve been fortunate on this incredible journey. Part of it’s luck. Some of it’s hard work. Most of it is because I’m genuinely curious by nature.

When I was six years old, my mother enrolled me in a school for the dramatic arts where I studied elocution and singing. She could never have known that this one decision would help shape the course of my entire life. It turned out to be one of the greatest gifts she ever gave me.

I became a professional actor at the age of nine, working with renowned directors and sharing the stage with Broadway performers. More than sixty years later, I’m still following that same fascination with storytelling, exploring new ideas and new mediums along the way.

I’ve made films, directed television, written books, helped launch creative careers, and had more adventures than I ever imagined.

I’ve also had the privilege of helping others realize their potential. I’ve watched students become professionals. I’ve seen films go from classrooms to festival screens and award podiums. I’ve directed animated robots, worked with celebrities, travelled the world, shared memorable times with remarkable people, and learned that success rarely arrives in a straight line.

The older I get, the more interested I am in new experiences and adventures.

New stories.

New lessons.

New friendships.

And, as always, the unexpected detours.

These are the things that keep me curious, grateful, and moving forward.
